Set in Mannheim's Herzogenriedpark, this multi-purpose hall is covered by a free-form timber lattice gridshell developed with Frei Otto. The double-curved wooden grid forms a series of flowing vaults and tunnels, with translucent covering letting daylight filter through the lattice.
