Apple Fifth Avenue is a flagship retail store in Midtown Manhattan whose street presence is a freestanding glass cube on a public plaza, with the sales floor below ground. Opened in 2006 to a design by Bohlin Cywinski Jackson and reworked by Foster and Partners in 2019, it shows how a minimal glass pavilion can act as both entrance and landmark.
