Apple Michigan Avenue is a riverfront retail pavilion by Foster and Partners at Pioneer Court on the Chicago River. A thin, gently curved roof plate seems to float above fully glazed walls, while broad stone steps descend from the street to the riverwalk, turning the store into a public link between city and water.
